Historical Timeline

1961

John F. Goodson was admitted to the Arizona Bar.

1964

Samuel Kelsall IV was admitted to the Texas Bar.

1966

Samuel Kelsall IV was admitted to the Arizona Bar.

1989

Rick Durfee was admitted to the Arizona Bar.

1995

Goodson Manley & Durfee PLC was formed. 

2004

Rick Durfee took what he had learned from John Goodson and amicably parted ways with Goodson Manley & Durfee to venture into establishing his own law firm called Durfee & Associates, P.C.

2006

Kent Phelps joined forces with Rick Durfee and Durfee & Associates became Durfee & Phelps, PLLC.

2011

Kent Phelps departed from the firm to launch their own legal practice. The firm reverted back to the name Durfee & Associates, P.C.

2016

Durfee & Associates was renamed to what it is know to this day as Durfee Law Group, PLLC.

2019

Durfee Law Group wanted to accommodate clients from all walks of life that perhaps may not need the complex Dynasty Estate Planning that is offered, so two additional division of the form were created. Estate Planning Law Group was created for Simple Estates and Probate Law Group was created to assist clients navigate Probate, Trust Administration, and other related proceedings.

2021

Samuel Kelsall IV merged his practice with Durfee Law Group.

2025

Goodson Manley Law & Legacies PLLC joined Durfee Law Group officially as of February 2025.
