Toby Tigges

Toby Tigges is our newest attorney, having passed the 2023 July Bar Exam.  Toby is currently licensed in his home state of Illinois, with a pending application for admission to Arizona.  At Durfee Law Group, Toby primarily spends his time working on Probate and Estate Administration matters.  Toby frequently works with Successor Trustees after the passing of a Grantor to facilitate the maintenance or distribution of the Estate.

Prior to arriving at Durfee Law Group, Toby received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of South Carolina.  From there, Toby went to the Franklin Pierce School of Law at the University of New Hampshire, where he focused his studies on business and transactional law.

In law school, Toby obtained a limited certification from the United States Patent and Trademark Office in order to work with his law school’s Intellectual Property Clinic. There, he helped small business owners properly manage and protect their intellectual property assets.

Through his law school coursework and experiences, Toby gained a tremendous desire to help individuals protect and preserve their hard-earned assets.  This led to a perfect fit at Durfee Law Group.  Toby was hired after he received his passing score on the Universal Bar Exam in September of 2023.

Toby is originally from the northern suburbs of Chicago and is an avid Chicago White Sox fan.  When he is not at the office, he loves spending time outdoors playing golf and enjoying the beautiful Arizona weather.
